1. Cleansing lotion and make-up remover: shake well to mix its two phases and apply generously to a cotton pad or muslin over the whole face and neck.
This first step serves to deeply remove grease, make-up and environmental dirt. Using an oil-based make-up remover helps to penetrate the pore better and remove the dirt that usually accumulates.
2. Neutral solid soap: wet your hands with water and rub the bar on the skin until it produces a little foam. Give a gentle massage with your hands and rinse with plenty of water. Avoid contact with eyes.
With the soap we will remove the rest of water-soluble particles and carry away the remains of the first step and dead cells.

Do they contain alcohol? No, all our products are alcohol-free.
Can it be used on oily skin? Yes, it is highly recommended for oily skin. The oil in the formula helps to remove excess sebum from the skin and the rose water hydrates and provides a gentle astringent effect.
Since it contains no preservatives, how should I look after this oil so that it does not spoil? The only precautions to take with our products are: avoid high temperatures (there is no need to store the product in the fridge, but avoid, for example, creams being left inside the car in summer), oxidation (close the jar after use) and humidity (contact with water).
Since the solid soap contains lye, is it not an aggressive soap for the skin? Practically all soaps sold on the market are made with saponified vegetable oils. And to saponify them, either sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) or potassium hydroxide (potash) is needed. Thus, lye is an essential ingredient to make soap. What happens is that many laboratories buy already-saponified oils (and indicate it on their labelling as "saponified oil"), instead of saponifying them themselves with lye (and listing lye as an ingredient).
You therefore do not need to worry that our soaps are made with lye, it is common to all soaps, and it is important to know that the lye is completely neutralised with olive oil. The base of the formula is the traditional one, cosmetic soaps are super-fatted with olive oil and that is why they are not aggressive to the skin. As with all soaps, it is important to avoid contact of soapy water with the eyes.
How should I store the soap bar? It is very important that after use the soap bar dries completely in the air. Therefore, it is necessary to use soap dishes that drain the excess water. If this is not done, the soap softens and releases an unpleasant gelatinous matter.
Are these cosmetics suitable for vegans? Yes, all Matarrania cosmetics are vegan, have not been tested on animals and contain no ingredients from animals nor products generated by them, such as beeswax.
What is the expiry date after opening? All Matarrania products have a period after opening of 8 months (indicated on the product boxes with the symbol of an open jar and the English acronym PAO: Period After Opening).
Can some components of the products cause allergies? Yes, there are two groups of components that can cause allergic reactions: vegetable oils extracted from tree nuts and essential oils.
Since the vegetable oils we use as ingredients are pure, virgin and unrefined, they contain the allergens of nuts. A person allergic to almonds cannot use MATARRANIA products that contain sweet almond oil, and the same applies to hazelnuts (hazelnut oil), sunflower seeds (sunflower oil) and sesame seeds (sesame oil).
Essential oils are natural aromatic substances that plants secrete and are composed of many components. Some of these components are allergens, that is, they can cause allergies, such as geraniol or citral. Cosmetics safety regulations require that the allergenic components of essential oils appear on the ingredients list when their concentration is greater than 0.001% in leave-on products, and greater than 0.01% in rinse-off products.
