Organic cold-pressed virgin sesame oil: a highly antioxidant oil powered by its high content of vitamin E, with nourishing and repairing properties for sensitive, weakened or dry skin.
Organic cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil: this oil is an excellent emollient and skin moisturiser, rich in vitamin E, polyphenols, fatty acids (oleic, linoleic and linolenic) and squalene.
Organic cold pressed virgin coconut oil: this emollient, protective and skin regenerator oil strives to fight bacteria. Additionally, it nourishes and shines hair.
Organic rosemary flowers and essential oil: its oil can be applied to the scalp to strengthen hair's growth from its roots, resulting in a stronger and less brittle hair. It also nourishes the scalp, reducing peeling and dryness.
Organic eucalyptus essential oil: this oil is celebrated for its antiseptic, balsamic, stimulating, invigorating and oxygenating properties.
Should it be used on dry or damp hair?
Either way. Use it on dry hair, or on damp hair after washing it.
How much serum should I apply?
Three drops for short hair, increasing the amount for longer or denser manes.
Can I mix it with other products?
Add it to your hair conditioner -a maximum of three drops per use- or to your henna dye for extra nourishment and care.
Can it be applied at the root on sensitive hair to prevent itching?
Yes. The Serum features a soothing effect on sensitive scalp. Apply it to the roots, insisting on areas of most itching as neck, crown of the head and sideburns in particular.
Can it be used on greasy hair?
Yes. The Serum is a treatment for split ends.
Is it suitable for vegans?
Yes, it is a vegan product, it has not been tested on animals, it does not contain ingredients derived from animals or products produced by animals.
Could any of the ingredients cause allergies?
Yes, there are two groups of components that can cause allergic reactions: vegetable oils extracted from nuts and essential oils.
Since the vegetable oils that we use are pure, virgin and unrefined, they contain the allergens from the nuts.
A person allergic to almonds cannot use the products containing sweet almond oil. The same applies to hazelnuts (hazelnut oil), sunflower seeds (sunflower seed oil) and sesame seeds (sesame oil).
Essential oils are natural aromatic substances secreted by plants and composed of different components. Some of these components are allergenic, i.e. they can cause allergies, like geraniol or citral. Cosmetic product safety regulations require that allergenic components of essential oils must be listed in the ingredients list when they are present in concentrations higher than 0.001% when the product is left on the skin, and higher than 0.01% when the product is applied but then removed from the skin.
People who are allergic to these components of essential oils cannot use cosmetics containing them.
As it has no preservatives, how should I keep this product so that it does not spoil?
The only precautions to be taken with our products are: high temperatures (no need to store the product in the fridge, but avoid high temperatures e.g. inside the car in summer), oxidation (close the jar after use) and humidity (avoid contact with water).
