For the natural treatment of oily skin we recommend starting the routine with the organic soap mousse and following with the gentle ROSE TONER ORGANIC, which, in addition to hydrating and cleansing, has an astringent effect and helps to prevent blackheads. Afterwards, apply the Nourishing Moisturiser. A deep cleanse once a week with the ORGANIC olive exfoliating scrub is highly recommended to complete the care of this skin type.

Does it have sun protection? No. If you anticipate sun exposure, use a sunscreen suitable for your skin type. It does not provide sun protection but it protects against multiple external factors such as temperature changes, wind, environmental pollution... Caring for the skin with organic cosmetics is a way to give it strength to defend itself against oxidising agents, naturally.

As it contains oil, does it leave the skin greasy? It is a good facial cream for combination skin and its texture is balm-like, like all MATARRANIA creams, as it contains no water: it is very concentrated and very nourishing, but it does not leave the skin greasy.

You should apply a small amount and spread it well, and although it takes a little longer to absorb than normal creams (which are emulsions and contain water), it leaves the skin soft, supple, protected and deeply hydrated.

What is the expiry date of a product after opening? All Matarrania products have a period after opening of 8 months (indicated on the product boxes with the symbol of an open jar and the English acronym PAO: Period After Opening).

As it contains no preservatives, how should I look after this product so that it does not spoil? The only precautions you need to take with our products are: avoid high temperatures (you do not need to store the product in the fridge, but you should avoid creams being, for example, inside the car in summer), oxidation (close the jar after use) and humidity (contact with water).

Is this cosmetic suitable for vegans? Yes, it is a vegan product; it has not been tested on animals and does not contain ingredients from animals or products generated by them.

Can some components of the products cause allergies? Yes, there are two groups of components that may cause allergic reactions: plant oils extracted from tree nuts and essential oils. In addition, products made with shea butter may cause reactions in people allergic to latex.

Because the plant oils we use as an ingredient are pure, virgin and unrefined, they contain the allergens from nuts. A person allergic to almonds cannot use MATARRANIA products that contain sweet almond oil, and the same applies to hazelnuts (hazelnut oil), sunflower seeds (sunflower oil) and sesame seeds (sesame oil).

Essential oils are natural aromatic substances secreted by plants and are composed of many components. Some of these components are allergens, that is, they can cause allergies, such as geraniol or citral. Cosmetic product safety regulations require the allergenic components of essential oils to appear in the ingredient list where their concentration is greater than 0,001% in products that are left on the skin, and greater than 0,01% in products that are removed from the skin. People who are allergic to these components of essential oils cannot use cosmetics that contain them.

Shea butter contains natural latex in its composition. The presence of this substance is minimal, but even so it can affect people allergic to latex. These people should avoid products that include shea butter in their formulation, or carry out an allergy test before using them, applying a small amount to the forearm and observing its reaction.
