PROPERTIES OF THE INGREDIENTS:
Organic Damask rose hydrosol (Rosa damascena flower water): exquisite, subtle formula with the genuine rose scent that soothes, decongests, relaxes, refreshes, restores skin moisture and balances skin pH.
- Sensitive or reactive skin or with rosacea: non-irritating; vasoconstrictor action that reduces skin redness.
- Dry or mature skin: regenerates the dermis and prevents the appearance of expression lines.
- Combination or oily skin: gentle astringent effect that helps to close pores; useful in the treatment and prevention of acne.
Organic cold-pressed virgin sesame oil (Sesamum indicum oil): a good antioxidant thanks to its high amount of vitamin E, with nourishing and repairing properties for sensitive, weakened or dry skin. Organic sunflower oil: high vitamin E content, one of the highest among vegetable oils, even higher than olive, so it plays an important antioxidant role for the skin, that is, it prevents cellular ageing. It is a fast-absorbing oil, suitable for all skin types. Produced in Spain, virgin quality and cold-pressed.
Organic sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus seed oil): high vitamin E content, playing an important antioxidant role for the skin. Produced in Spain, virgin quality and cold-pressed.
Organic jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis seed oil): liquid wax obtained by pressing jojoba seeds. Fast-absorbing, it stimulates cell regeneration thanks to linolenic acid. Organic geranium essential oil: an excellent and highly valued cell regenerator, with an intense aroma reminiscent of rose. Organic bergapten-free bergamot essential oil: antibacterial, soothing and sedative for the central nervous system. Organic patchouli essential oil: with toning and decongestant properties.

Can it be combined with the Nourishing Moisturiser for Dry Skin? Yes. You can use the Fluid Moisturiser for Dry Skin during the day and the Nourishing Moisturiser for Dry Skin at night, or use the Moisturiser for Combination Skin both day and night.
Does it contain essential oils? Yes, it contains geranium, bergamot and patchouli essential oils. In total, 3% essential oils.
Is this cosmetic suitable for vegans? Yes, it is a vegan product; it has not been tested on animals and contains no ingredients from animals nor products generated by them.
As it does not contain preservatives, how should I look after this oil so that it does not spoil? The only precautions to take with our products are: avoid high temperatures (there is no need to store the product in the fridge, but avoid, for example, creams being left inside the car in summer), oxidation (close the jar after use) and humidity (contact with water).
Can some components of the products cause allergies? Yes, there are two groups of components that can cause allergic reactions: vegetable oils extracted from tree nuts and essential oils.
Since the vegetable oils we use as ingredients are pure, virgin and unrefined, they contain the allergens of nuts. A person allergic to almonds cannot use Matarrania products that contain sweet almond oil, and the same applies to hazelnuts (hazelnut oil), sunflower seeds (sunflower oil) and sesame seeds (sesame oil).
Essential oils are natural aromatic substances secreted by plants and are composed of many components. Some of these components are allergens, that is, they can cause allergies, such as geraniol or citral. Cosmetics safety regulations require that the allergenic components of essential oils appear in the list of ingredients when their concentration is greater than 0.001% in leave-on products, and greater than 0.01% in rinse-off products.
People who are allergic to these components of essential oils cannot use cosmetics that contain them.
