Evelyn Celma, a woman who loves her land, with the firm purpose of balancing motherhood with her working life and with the intention of offering an authentic and natural alternative for skin care, created Matarrania.

Her knowledge of plants and her interest in rural folk culture led her to compile ancestral formulations from country people, based on olive oil and Mediterranean plants. Today these formulations are the essence of Matarrania, a pioneer of organic cosmetics in Spain.

Cosmetics rooted in the land that take their name from the very soil where they were born: the Comarca del Matarraña, in Teruel. A strategic crossroads between Mediterranean cultures. It is home to an extensive community of aromatic and medicinal plants, and enjoys a centuries-old tradition of olive oil production.
